About Pages

As I was preparing my first Blog Carnival, I visited several sites and the one thing that I found is that not everyone uses an About page.

My question to them is - why not??

When you meet someone for the first time, you introduce yourself. You don’t go into the conversation without providing your name. So why do the same on the Internet and on your website?

The About page is probably one of the most important pages. It provides the reader with some information about you, and why they should even listen to what you have to say. It helps them identify with you.

If you are not using an About page - please do so!
