Massive Targetted TrafficHi,

Who doesn’t need massive, targetted traffic to their blog?  There are many techniques I’ve discussed to getting that traffic.  One of which is blog commenting – but what else can you do?

Blog commenting works, but it is time consuming (I will be expanding upon blog commenting in a future post and a few alternatives in a future post).

Let me ask you this question - would you be willing to pay to get targetted site traffic to your site.  And I’m not talking about 1,000,000 visitors to your website for $9.95 kinda deal either.  Those don’t work.

Would you pay someone to write something about your site?  Remember – you have no control over what is said.

How much would you be willing to pay?

$50.00, $60.00, $80.00,, $100.00, $200.00, $500.00

???

What would targetted traffic or just the exposure be worth to you?

John Chow offers reviews on his site at $500.00 each:

Here is a review John did:

Tyler Cruz charges $130.00 for a review, or paid plug:

I charge a measly $80.00 for a review – you can check out a few of my reviews:

Information on reviews at OIBO.ORG:

Is it worth to pay for a review?  On a site that is getting hundreds or thousands of visitors per day – HELL YAH!  You’re exposing your site to so many more individuals and getting the opportunity to capture their e-mail address or have them sign-up to your RSS feed.

But not all reviews are created equally – I mean, if you get a review on a site where there are multiple posts per day your review gets buried pretty damn quick.  For example, I post 2x or 3x per day — you wouldn’t want me to post your review at 9:00am — but rather as the last post of the day since it will be visible for atleast 12-24 hours before the next post is made.

If paying for a review isn’t your cup of tea check out this great post on Johns’ site on additional ways to promote and attract visitors to your website – http://www.johnchow.com/marketing-your-website-on-a-tight-budget/.

Mohamed
