With Googles recent algorithm changes do you think it’s still worth buying exact match domains? I think they were discounting any benefits from exact match domains?

Hi Matt,
Reading several other blogs the reaction is mixed. From what I’ve been able to gather blogs of all sizes were hit – from single page blogs to blogs that had dozens of posts; some marketers said that some of their EMDs shot up in ranks while others went down.
It might be too early to tell – but you can see where Google is going with all their updates – forcing marketers and webmasters alike to produce good content where advertisers can advertise knowing that the clicks that they are going to pay for are quality clicks and not just an exit point because the blog is spammy.
The EMD’s that were hit were all over the map – mind you this is based on only reading reports from 3-4 blogs but I have been following Search Engine Land and a couple of other sites as they had some pretty good analysis which is being updated.
I think EMDs still have value; however it will take a new way of thinking about them to make them solid earners.
