I upload to YouTube all the time and love it, but not when it comes to my own sites. Google now uses the lower third of all YouTube videos for advertising, and I don't want those ads running on my site. Also, YouTube degrades the quality of the video, and I want the highest quality on my site. And with low-cost Amazon's S3 to do the actual hosting of my videos (not on my own server), when I get lots of hits, my own site isn't impacted adversely. So... add the S3 plugin, use Firefox to ftp your videos to your S3 location, and then play them in your WordPress blog... AND also put your videos on YouTube. You'll get the most bang for your activities.
