Maximum Performance and Effeciency through Organization

Hi,

I’ve always found it difficult to work where there is clutter.  I need a clean work area, however there may be others that like “organized chaos” (not quite sure what that means) though I don’t know if they will be very productive.

By staying organized and keeping your workarea clutter free you are able to better stay on top of tasks that need to be completed.

  • Arrange your work area or office for maximum performance and effeciency.
  • Make sure there is plenty of natural light.
  • You should have a good desk, and chair plus whatever else you will need to ensure your work can progress with little disruptions.

Keep your work area clean.  At the end of the day, put your notes documents and other items together into a folder so when you come back to it the next day, you know whever everything is.  The idea is to ensure maximum performance, you can’t do that if you’re hunting down pieces of paper! 

Keeping organized, and an environment free of clutter will help you get more done since you will be focused on the task at hand — not looking at the unpaid bill or other documents from the corner of your eye.  Remember, there is a time for everything — maximize your time so that it is spent getting those jobs done that will result in the greatest value to you and your business.
