Can you believe it?  SPAM is 30 years old!

What was the first SPAM message ever sent?  Check it out on Brad Templetons’ site…

You know, I once wrote an article about SPAM and how it was my friend…but let me tell ya, I’m no longer a big fan of it! Especially whe you’re getting spammed at a rate of 1,000 posts per day!!! Aaaaaacck!

I know! I couldn’t beleive it either. It was hated then as much as it’s hated now. Luckily today we have a lot more tools at our disposal to combat spam. Problem is that the spammers always seem to be one step ahead. There have been a few notable convictions brought against some of the worst spammers:
